When Charlie Ames, the frontman of "Vintage", moved to Gretna High School he was paired up with a "peer buddy" to show him around. That buddy was none other than Sawyer Cooke, "Vintage"'s prime guitarist. Sawyer's first words to Charlie were "Hey. Do you play bass?" As soon as it became apparent that Sawyer wasn't alone in his passion for music and drive to create a band, they were forever a team. It wasn't long before bassist Shane Ernst and drummer Reid Gahan came into the picture.
Currently, "Vintage" is working on finishing up their debut EP and playing as many shows as possible. With each show the band becomes tighter in their devotion to creating the best music that they can. Being a young and ambitious band, "Vintage" goes above and beyond in their efforts to better their individual skills and the band as a whole.
"Vintage" has an optimistic vision of the future and is always searching for more opportunities to further the band.

"Being in a band is like being smuggled in a car across a border... It's smelly, you're all cramped together and you think you're not going to make it but then you do and it's freedom"
