Reign is a greatly eclectic group. With 6 very different people, with 6 very different musical and social backgrounds. With our love of writing and performing in common. We all add our emotion and commitment to our music.
We let the song develop and dictate where it wants to go. That is the main reason some of our songs are so long. We are constantly writing new music. We have released "The Greatest Story Ever Told" in Dec of 2012, and our newest release "Reign" Due to release July of 2015. We are currently writing music for our next untitled release in the future. Each song improves and gets better than the previous song we complete.
In order to deliver a stellar performance and quality that everyone deserves from their entertainment dollar. Each live performance is critiqued and improved upon.

The music of Reign was powerful and aggressive, with the bonus of layered vocal harmonies by Scotty Miller and Kari Stein, and backing vocals by Jaimi Grumblatt (who also played keyboards). The musical tone is set by the stellar guitar work of Jarrod Grumblatt, invoking comparisons to Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Queensryche. Not to be overshadowed, bass player Scott Parker and drummer Mike Klaiber showcased superb skills that intensified the bands performance. Reign added a triumphant tier of explosive music

Hailing from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Reign was formed in 2009 as a progressive rock band with influences such as Dream Theater, Rush, Queensryche and Journey. They had me hooked from the first song as they kicked out some jams that took me back to the early days of metal with a fast and heavy hook.
Reign has opened for bands such as Queensryche and Stryper, and has toured with bands like King James. They are entering the studio in late June 2014 to record their second album which is expected to be quite a departure from their début album, The Greatest Story Ever Told, released through TMG Records in 2012.
I had never heard of this band before, but they most certainly have my attention on the local scene now.
