Biography

Coming of age in South FL as a guitar toting beach bunny and armed with a voice that made people listen, Britte Miller quickly became a regular performer on the local coffee house scene of South FL.. Two band collaborations thereafter, one in FL and another in TX, Britte decided it was time to shake things up again. She packed her life into her car and drove to the Land of Enchantment. She fell in love with NM and continues to reside there.

Miller, AKA Violet, is an artist who relishes sharing her music with her audience. The performing songwriter thrives on creating memorable experiences with and for her fans. Currently working up a solo house concert series for high desert music lovers, a house concert tour is also on the horizon for Naked Acoustic Violet (NAV).

About Naked Violet the band:

Solo gigging on the Dallas coffee house circuit led to the founding of her indie band Naked Violet. Playing to eager audiences in every venue of Deep Ellum, Metro Dallas-Ft. Worth, and beyond, the band was compared by fans to the sounds of Heart, Annie Lennox, Sheryl Crow, and The Cranberries. After recording the 'Shades of Violet' demo, critical life changes forced the band to dissolve.

*Britte Miller is climbing up the top ten Reverbnation Singer-Songwriter chart for Albuquerque, NM.

**Keenly understanding the impact of production, Miller does not want to limit a song's potential to one particular genre! She is quite the chameleon artist and songwriter looking for the right producer to explore a new musical adventure by challenging all aspects of creative musical expression.

"Adoration"
Naked Violet
Genre: rock

If you are after a vintage rock ambience, Naked Violet will do it for you. Completely enjoyable hard-edged musicianship and a really fantastic sound. Would see them live in a heart beat! And that’s coming from someone that’s although a music lover can really take or leave hard rock in a steady diet. Great JOB!

"Did you hear that Brigitte Miller in the Back Alley?" photographer Rachel Beissner asked after the event.

"Did you hear her version of Blind Faith's 'Can't Find My Way Home'?
I loved her," said Beissner about Miller, who looked every part the rock star and had done a set at the North Texas Music Festival that day as well...

Definitely the tallest, rockin'est chic to make the GNG scene: Brigitte Miller (Naked Violet) let loose with a full band for backup. (Yep, some of 'em were guys...)

"Move over boys," I thought. " You've got company."
