Born Antonio Vitale in Pescara (on the Italian East Coast), Jester has been the lead vocalist for the rock-blues band "The Warm Morning 616" since 1997. In the meantime he started writing his own songs using only an acoustic guitar and a vintage 4-track cassette recorder. After the band disbanded in early 2003, he put his solo project on hiatus before starting it over in 2008. Since then Vitale released two acclaimed solo albums: "Lo-fi, back to tape" (Twelve Records, 2009) and "Magellano" (Twelve Records, 2012), plus a bunch of cover and unreleased songs on the web. He also played live a lot, both as a solo performer and duet with a second guitarist, sometimes with a 5-piece band, collecting a series of opening gigs for international artist such as Hugo Race, Shannon Wright and Sandro Perri, along with top-flight italian indie artists as Diaframma, Moltheni and The Niro among others. He is currently putting up new material and still playing live.
