This two-time Grammy nominee’s career has taken Cidny from singing back-up with Elton John and singing lead vocals on the “Grease” movie soundtrack-- to having eight critically acclaimed solo albums, including the award winning “Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth”, “Neverland”, “dream #29” and her newest “Howling Trains and Barking Dogs”. Cid’s guests on the albums include friends Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Bryan Adams, Emmylou Harris, Delbert McClinton, and Sir Elton. In the 1990’s, Cidny co-wrote in Nashville, producing several charting singles including Radney Foster’s hit “Hammer and Nails”. Cidny continues a solo career, and is one-third of “super-group”- The Refugees- with Wendy Waldman and Deborah Holland.

"Howling Trains and Barking Dogs" --Fine showcases of both songwriting and life seasoned voice. The heart-weary Good At Being Gone should have Kristofferson hammering on her door begging to record it.

Cidny Bullens has perfected the tough-tender, country-rock hybrid sound;...lending guts and grace to the world of the critic's darling."

“As another rocker who has grown up and managed to incorporate adult concerns without sacrificing the passion and energy of youth, Cidny Bullens deserves to be mentioned alongside such peers as Bruce Springsteen, John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt, and Steve Earle.”
