Biography
Four Livingston area teens are attracting attention these days all around southern Michigan. Their original music is as unique and hard hitting as the band’s name, Bulletproof Snow.
The band is: Trey McLaughlin – Lead Vocals/Guitar, Jake Yacobelli- Guitar/Vocals, Matt Coon – Bass, and Connor Cheney – Drums. Like an unstoppable blizzard, these teens are rocketing upward since entering the Detroit music scene in March 2012.
Excited about their 2nd EP "Here We Come" (June 2014), BPS has already seen play of their 1st EP release (March 2013) on major radio, including 89X (Windsor), WRIF (Detroit), and Banana 101.5 (Flint).
Far from your average teen rock band, BPS was chosen over thousands of bands to perform at 2013 Rockstar UPROAR festival with national touring bands Alice In Chains and Jane’s Addiction. In addition to being the youngest band ever selected for UPROAR festival, they also recently received the 2015 Detroit Music Awards People's Choice Award. Their recent accomplishments also include performing at several major festivals and besting many of Detroit’s top bands in numerous competitions.
Bulletproof Snow’s powerhouse sound and catchy grooves have a deep seeded urban pop rock feel that keeps coming at you like a 1-2 punch. BPS is quickly carving out a place to call its own with their rough and tumble signature sound and a powerful message that leaves fans with a craving for more. The band has developed a global following that includes media personalities and national recording artists.
Proud to hail from an area with such a famed musical history, Bulletproof Snow aims to add their name to the long list of nationally known talent that has come before them. They are determined to be the next big thing rising up from Metro Detroit/Flint.

These guys are definitely making waves due to their songwriting and charismatic live performances. Vocalist Trey McLaughlin is natural front man. Flanked by Jacob Yacobelli, Matt Coon, and Connor Cheney they create a band that is incredibly impressive. Fresh from their victory at the Rockstar UPROAR contest these guys are on a roll. We look forward to seeing them perform in the near future and watching their rock and roll careers grow.

I see Bulletproof Snow as a diamond in the rough, with an amazing amount of potential. As time goes by we will no doubt hear more from them. I also would not be surprised to hear their music on the Radio someday or even in a video game a Reality TV Series or headlining the Warped Tour. In close, most famous artists out there have “it”. I’m not so sure what “it” is but Bulletproof Snow has whatever “it” may be.

Punished for my Innocence by Bulletproof Snow has everything: good chops, entertaining songs, heart felt vocals and music that covers allot of bases – Punk Rock, Alternative Rock to straight up Rock. At the end of the day these guys are probably a total riot to check out live or in the studio. The Bottom Line WARNING - Listening to the Bulletproof Snow will open your eyes to the possibilities of what could be.

This debut 4 song musical teaser from "Bulletproof Snow” delivers hot new music from Michigan and is a solid musical statement from start to finish. Its strength – the raw song for song intensity that keeps coming at you. The music is clean yet gritty, rock solid, heavy and consistent. Like a heavy weight fighter this EP packs a powerful punch, and goes the full 12 rounds with no sign of letting up. Like a 1-2 punch the songs keep coming at you, one after the other until you’re ready to tap out. What am I trying to say? "Bulletproof Snow" rocks - that’s what."

About front man, Trey McLaughlin: He is a true artist and music is his calling. It just falls out of his pockets like magic dust.
