Acoustic Truth, composed of Ryan Knott & Sarah Lendy, is a country pop and blue-eyed-soul duo formed in the summer of 2011. With their distinct vocals and natural ability as songwriters, Knott and Lendy strive to provide hope and inspire people through their music.

The two best friends from Chicago began creating music together during the summer of 2011. After hitting it off as interns at Camp Star, a summer camp for children living with psychological disorders and learning disabilities, the pair kept in touch and routinely exchanged music between each other.

It wasn’t until summer 2011 did they write their first song together, “A New Me”, and finally decide to partner up in hopes of bringing back heartfelt music that has been lost over the years.

During the beginning stages of their career, Knott and Lendy enjoyed performing their music on a more personal scale for audiences in schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. This is something they plan to continue. Their goal is to be a positive influence within the industry and touch the hearts of every individual listener.

The two have played all over the country, from CA to TN to SC. They have focused a great amount of time on the major venues in Chicago, including Lincoln Hall, The Beat Kitchen, Bottom Lounge, Uncommon Ground, and a sold out show headlining at the House of Blues.

The story of the two meeting is considered"fate" to most. Knott played baseball at Duke University on a baseball scholarship and was offered numerous contracts to play professionally. However, Knott suffered a career ending injury which led him into the music scene and more importantly led him to his duo partner Sarah Lendy who grew up singing and playing music with her family in church. The duo describes their paths as a part of "God's plan" and hope to continue the journey forever.
